Create SSH keys for putty

If issues are experienced with the EC2 instances we will need to connect and investigate.

We will use putty to connect to the EC2 instance.

First set up the private key

Run Puttygen.exe

Select “Load”

Using “All Files (*.*)” select the downloaded AWS private key “devopsdba2.pem” and then “Open”

Select “Save public key”

Save the key as devopsdba2.pem

Select “Save private key”

Save devopsdba2.ppk

Exit
